The other night, the last thing I remember is that I transferred rice from a split bag to a tupperware container. So far, so sensible.
What I apparently did sometime later though (that I have zero recollection of) is open a packet of sausages, put one sausage into the damaged bag and stuck that back in the cupboard where I found it in the morning.

... How about you lot?

I actually have a rice incident too, in about 2012ish, I spilt an entire mixed drink on my laptop. Knowing that rice soaks up fluids well and used to work with flip phones, I opened my computer and dumped rice inside of the electronics. Did not work.
