At weekends, yeah. Partly because I wake up before nine however hard I try for a lie-in.

During the weeks? I wish. Good idea in this weather though, definitely.

My grandparents live in Cyprus and siesta-ing is a way of life there. 2 hours is the business

Yep. Just woke up from a good 2 hours Siesta the now. Feel splendid. Roasting hot everyday but now getting used to it thankfully. Except at night where I'm finding it hard to get a good sleep.

would love a nap right now to take me to suppertime

problem is the fucking builders outside with their pneumatic drills & that really noisy thing they use for tar that sounds like a wind whoosh

Are you in the UK or on holiday somewhere ? Isn't Siesta just called 'Nanna Napping' ?

Same here! They're right under my fucking window.. Did manage a solid siesta today though

I've never been a fan of siesta, not even when living in southern italy or Israel (but siesta is not an Israeli habit, afaik, we just dug deeper trenches against the heat in our climatized offices. Those offices were probably colder in July than in December...).
After a sleepless night or if I'm reaally tired I will nap around 17-18 if I'm not at work.
