Side Effects of GHB

I take GHB for recreational purposes most weekends over the last year but have recently been experiencing difficulty in handling stressful situations and have a couple of times 'lost it'. By this i mean experiencing extreme anger/frustration resulting in me throwing things about then breaking down crying. Does anyone know the side effects of ghb and whether these mood swings could be related to it? And if women are affected differently to men? Thank you
 
My usage pattern is similar to yours, but I have not experienced such changes in mood like I have with Ecstasy. G does decrease your dopamine and make you happier and more easy going. It is possible that you could be more aggressive when the dopamine levels return. Are these anger outbursts close to your days of usage? It could also be some latent chemical imabalance in your brain that could be helped with an SSRI. Check out erowid to see what they have to say about long term mood changes with GHB usage. I'd be surprised if it were the cause, but it might be.
 
If you use G in the weekends (1 or 2 doses), it shouldn't do squat to your brain neurochemistry. Daily, multiple-dose intake is needed to achieve such changes.
 
Probably just due to the loss of inhibitions. Like an angry drunk, only with GHB.
If it's bothering you, probably a good idea just not to use the drug.
 
The outbursts are usually on a tuesday + friday!! Not sure if that makes any sense at all!! Usually use anywhere between 10 and 30 capfulls over the weekend so could my outbursts be due to these high doses of ghb? I dont use in in the week tho.
 
Can't help with medical evidence, but I do know a couple of bluelighters who've had similar experiences after long term and frequent use of GHB... They stopped using so much and were ok tho...
 
Has anyone stopped to think about the fact that any drug can be psycologically addicting and that he may be suffering psycological withdrawl? I know I get cranky and irritable withdrawling from drugs. I suggest laying off the sauce for awhile, learn how to function normally without it.
 
¨a capful¨ is not very accurate as measurement...
But I'll assume a capful for u is a dose, right?

30 hits is WAY 2 FUCKING MUCH for 2 or 3 days. what you're experiencing is pretty normal.
lower your dose count dammit.

I use g quite frequently and whenever a try to stop, I have a very difficult time sleeping. I have never heard of people getting angry while on g though. Interesting
 
Angery and violent outbursts... it's not as common as falling asleep and puking on yourself, but it's a fairly common side effect.. same thing with benzos - some people don't get mellowed as they do violent and angery... cut back the dosing and see if it doesn't improve.. if it doesn't, then stop using!
