Side effect not found on the label: Being an asshole on opiates

I have found on most opiates i am far more happy and tolerant of people, except when i do a good bit of heroin, then i often want to be left alone and have very little patience for people yammering on about nothing, and oxy sometimes causes me to have rage issues, like i fly off the handle over nothing, but for the most part i am much less of an asshole on opiates than off them.

Actually, I'm quite the opposite. I'm an asshole when i'm not on opiates. Sometimes I do get kind of irritable on opiates but I'm a pretty chill person.

Yeah I have definitely noticed that. Sober I'm a very chilled guy and it takes a lot to get my angry/iritated, but when I'm high on stronger opiates I get iritable incredibly easily. It's funny because I would have thought the oppisite would have been true.

I have definitely gotten cranky/impolite on opiates, yet only on medium doses. On low doses I'm too reserved and focused on the buzz to be an ass, and on high doses I'm too out of it to even talk usually. But the medium dose, I'm uninhibited to the point of saying whatever the hell I want and not sleepy enough to keep my mouth shut.

When I first was prescribed Oxycontin in 1999 I was very mean and grouchy until I realized I had to space out my doses so I was somewhat high ALL the time. Now everyone loves me and I love everyone.

I noticed I was having irrational emotional outbursts like I would when suffering from nicotine withdrawal, while coming down from black tar heroin recently. The kind of anger that makes me want to throw phones or kick doors, and can't transfer to other humans, only inanimate objects.
