new to opiates, this is all i have taken:

6/30 - 11.25mg oxycodone / 750mg apap
7/1 - 18.75mg oxycodone / 1250mg apap
7/3 - 15mg oxycodone / 1000mg apap
7/6 - 15mg oxycodone / 1000mg apap
7/9 - 60mg hydrocodone / 1950mg apap
7/10 - 52.5mg hydrocodone / 1706mg apap
7/11 - 15mg hydrocodone / 1000mg apap

10 minutes after i dose on 7/11, i throw up. i felt like complete shit when i woke up too. i continued to throw up some more during the morning. after this, i fall asleep and slept for over 24 hours, but i did wake up in between. is this most likely the small "binge" i had on 7/9 and 7/10? right now i still feel bad, but not like yesterday morning.

That really isn't alot but it does sound like WD to me, wakin up feelin shitty, throwing up, excessive sleep (only for newbies i've found) if you don't watch it it'll transform into a sick that is out of this world, nothing to screw around with and will leave you struggling for years

How are you calculating the apap? 1706mg sure seems a specific number. Although I can't see less than 4 grams a day, for several days, causing any nausea. The WD seems most likely, if you threw up the 15mg you took yesterday after frequent use before that, then maybe.
Do you have diarrhoea too?

10/325 = 52.5/x

^ That is how I calculated APAP. No diarrhea. Also worth mentioning I have a lack of appetite (only had half a bowl of apple sauce in one day) and bad muscle pains.

The diarrhea isn't always present, the throwing up can be the nausea already from WD's plus the induced nausea from the opiates.

Yeah dude, if it feels like the flu, achey, pain, feeling like shit, letharigc, tearing up, yawning, tired, (sometimes cannot sleep, depending on severity), headache, throwing up
Pins and needles

Then ur in WD's

..I don't think that it is withdrawals contrary to what everyone has said. You have taken opiates only 7 days so I don't believe you could suffer such physical withdrawals to the point where you would get sick enough to make you throw up on more than one occasion, have muscle pains and a lack of appetite, even if you did binge the "two days" before. You were taking around the same dose 5 out of the 7 days. Two days of a higher dose that you usually take would not do that.

You said that you got sick right after taking the hydrocodone. If it were withdrawals you'd feel sick "before" taking it. Taking opiates can cause lack of appetite and nausea. Maybe you have been taking too much for you to handle, referring to your sickness, within the last 7 days. Maybe it just caught up to you. Some people are more sensitive to the side effects. That can happen to people..

My opinion.

That's what I was thinking, I have heard about people taking too much of some opiate for a few days, and then getting withdrawal-like symptoms.

Yeah, it is really hard for me to believe that you could get w/d this fast and especially since you weren't doing just oxy but weaker hydrocodone. The w/d if you would have it would be a lot weaker, not to the point of throwing up. Maybe if you were doing heroin 7 days in a row I could believe it, but not really with these drugs and dosages and breaks in b/w dosing days. Unless you are some freak of nature, which is not likely.

I think part of you feeling sick might be the APAP. Your stomach might be sensitive to it and taking it this regularly might be making it upset or your liver upset. Not saying this is 100% true, but just a possibility to throw out there. It might be part of why you are feeling shitty.

The binge might be catching up with you, that is a pretty sensible guess. Your body might just be getting weak from taking the drugs. You might not be eating enough or taking care of your body properly.

Also, people develop sensitivities to drugs after they have been taking them for a while. I am not saying it is what you have, but maybe something to think about. Someone can be taking hydro for weeks everyday and be fine and then one day they take it and feel sick. It can happen with all opiates as far as I know. But I don't really think that's the case with you as you are not showing symptoms of an allergy, like swelling or rash. So I dunno.

I think that what you are going through is a combination of different things. Take a break. Preferably you should stop using this stuff now as it seems that you have been using it quite a lot for a beginner and an addiction to opiates can really suck you in quick. But if you take a break and then come back and you are still feeling sick from it then your body just stopped agreeing with hydro or oxy. Most likely after the break you will be fine, your body will heal and you will be able to enjoy your drugs.

But really, you seem to be on a road to dependancy. I know you probably think you will never get addicted cuz you have a strong will power. No addict starts out wanting to be an addict. No one starts saying "oh yeah, I'm gonna get addicted to opiates". Everyone starts out saying that they will never get addicted and then a while later they are spending all their money on it.

Just be careful. I know you don't want to hear this shit, but if it will make you more careful with your use, that's all I want. Don't make the same mistakes that we did. After you use for sometime, willpower stops working. It's too easy for anyone to fall into addiction. Just be careful. Never think that it won't happen to you but instead make it not happen to you.

^ Good answer, that sums it all up pretty much. All the possibilities that could be occurring in this situation.

I think mainly the OP is just sensitive to the apap, or even yes the binge catching up with him/her (sorry).

I dunno though it depends on metabolization as well, I have done oxy/hydrocodone (about 2 years ago with this particular situation) 5-6 days straight, high ass amounts and I got flue like symptoms... this happened several times. But if I do it now I get milder symptoms, mainly diarrhea and stomach cramps are my main symptom of "sickness". It all really does depend on the person and their metabolization, route of administration and everything else.

Lots of things can affect drug/usage/withdrawal in its entireity.

sp. whoooops.
