Opioids Sick the Next Day from Pod Tea

Hi everyone. I tried pod tea for the first time this week. I had no ill-effects at all until the next day. Woke up feeling totally fine, in-fact very chilled out and pleasant, until I got up to get a drink and started walking around. As soon as I started moving I suddenly got bad nausea, no stomach cramps though, and threw up a couple of times. Went a bit sweaty and dizzy while being sick, but afterwards lay down and was ok again.

I was wondering is this normal with opiates? It's never happened to me with codeine. I've had nausea from too much linctus but that was within half an hour of taking it, never the next day. Is it normal to throw up the day after taking opiates or is this because it's a bad batch of pods/mycotoxins/mold/chemicals etc?

Thanks.

that nausea the next day is a classic when someone does oppies with low tollerance, is common. With codeine, as is the softest oppie, is hard to get the nausea, but the first day taking the tea, is like the first day taking heroin.

s it normal to throw up the day after taking opiates

So yes, it is normal :)

Cheers El Barto. The reason I thought it was unusual is because I wasn't even one tiny bit nauseous when I was on it. I've heard H makes some people sick but I thought that was only when they were high on it not afterwards. I think I got my dosing just right, I was feeling really good the whole day, had a great time, wavy chilled out happiness, good appetite, good mood. As I said I slept really well and woke up feeling great. It's only when I stood up, walked around a bit that all of a sudden felt sick. I'm not worried if it's just the opiates making me sick in the morning but more concerned if it was contaminants. So from what you say that's put my mind at rest a bit. Thanks

im pleased to help you, i like when people tells me info i didnt have , so i like doing the same :)

I dont know the exactly process of why it happens that why, but i know it happened me the same first times with opium, wich has a long half life as the tea has. During the day perfect, the next day i wake up like you say: good appetite, good mood...but first coffe made me going hurrying to the toilet to throw up

edit: typo

Strangely, I didn't start getting opiate nausea until I'd been using them for years. Hydrocodone is the worst, and it always happens on the comedown. Lying still and not moving your eyes/head around much helps.

After my first time using pods, I got mild withdrawal-like symptoms the following day...from one glass! It's powerful stuff that stays in your body for many hours. Using more than 2x per week can result in physical dependence/withdrawals.

Source: 4-year pod tea drinker. :D

@El Barto That is exactly the same as what happened to me. Everywhere else I'm reading people being sick soon after they take it, not later on. I guess it's because everyone's system reacts differently and you and I both have a similar response. Who knows maybe someone else will see this in future who needs the info. I appreciate it, stops me wondering if there's something wrong. Thanks again, I don't need to worry now! have a good day :)

yeah, evey person´s organism is different :)

I agree with that, i have taken opium around 1.5-2 years in a row ( im not proud of this, i´d have need making rests to use that drug smartly, but as an addict , thats pretty hard), and the WD , just the starting, was horrible, so i switched to subuxone just to avoid that nasty WD

@Lady Codone Cool thanks for the info. I've used codeine, both linctus and OTC with ibu or paracetamol when I have back pain or migraines. I used the linctus recreationally a few times and only once did I feel slightly nauseous, wasn't sick though. Never had nausea as a come-down effect. What you say makes total sense now though, I was drinking my tea slowly the whole day up until around 10pm so it was almost certainly the come-down effect. You've actually jogged my memory, it kind of reminds me of the nausea from come-downs I used to get from taking e and drinking while at D&B raves. Used to wake up feeling super nauseous, some of those used to have some opies in the mix because I remember the brown specks on occasion. So yeah it's just the opiates causing the nausea. Which I'm alright with it, wasn't that bad.

@El Barto I hope it goes well for you whatever you want to do. I'm not even gona say "i'll try it once" "i won't become an addict" etc. It's pointless! Who knows if I will or not, I don't think I will though of course!

I was a pod tea addict for six years. I would feel nausea sometimes the day after. It's normal.

Lady Codone- are you currently a pod tea drinker?

thkx blotter, i hope too things to go well over here, even i dont know what path to take nowadays. yeah, is pointless to say "i won't become an addict" , in fact people saying this have more chances of addiction imo, that people like you, that realizes that everything can happen ( addiction or not)

You need to eat...

You are going to have very nice gastric acidity and it sours your stomach... Your body treats it for what it is... A toxin.

Pepto an hour after your food works too.
