Benzos Sick and am wandering about requesting Benzos for sleep.

Hey BL,
Im pretty sure im not breaking rules here but please close/remove post if necessary
Well the last 5 days I have been very ill at home with Tonsillitis/Bronchitis (not quiet sure haven't seen a doc yet). The last 5 days ive had off work excluding the weekend and have barely slept a wink of sleep whilst been sick maybe 5 hours all up. Would it be inappropriate for me to request Temazepam or Diazepam or something for sleep. Im seriously at my wits end with this insomnia crap.

Well, if its that bad, go get some weed if that will help you sleep...but if you want to go the legal and legitimate route, go to your doctor, but I think the most they would give you is Ambien for the insomnia, which didnt work too good for me the few times Ive tried it, I was still up half the night.

I know all about insomnia and how bad it is, I go thru with when Im w/ding from other opiates, for me the absolute worst part is sitting there and watching the sky get lighter and lighter knowing you only slept maybe a couple hours, PLUS knowing you have another damn day ahead of you!

^Amen to that I live in Australia, and theyre generally almost throwing out benzos but I legitimately think I need them and I refuse to take Ambien. its way unpredictable. And I don't want to smoke green because my throat is soo sore :/ .

You really should see a doctor if you have a throat or respiratory infection going on five days now. They will probably give you some antibiotics to help clear this up.
