Stimulants Sick after taking a lowered Adderall dosage

So normally I take 60mg of generic adderall but this time I only took 50mg and it's been a while since I took it. I was hoping for the you know million buck Adderall feeling but all I got was the chills, a stomachache and a headache. Is this because of the slightly lowered dose? Or because I haven't taken it in a while? Or something else entirely? It's been like 2 months since I last took it btw

Since it's been months since you've taken it, I doubt it is (entirely) due to tolerance. 50mg is a pretty high dose, as is 60mg. How long did you take your 60mg for? It could be that you were already sick and the amphetamines only made you feel worse, higher heartrate, increased body temp. and blood pressure, etc.

I don't think it is because you haven't taken it in a while. One would expect to have that million buck adderall feeling come right back since you've taken a two month break and your tolerance has at least gone down somewhat...

I didn't take the 60mg regularly at all maybe once a month and off and on. Coming down off Adderall had given me these symptoms but I've never gotten it at the start of taking it.

This may or may not be helpful, but I used to get a very similar set of symptoms after taking too much Ritalin. Not the same substance but one would assume an entirely-too-high dose of most stimulants would yield the same results.

Of course you know what they say about assume...

Well I've taking 60 and didn't get sick until after which wasn't really bothersome because the rest was worth it but now I just feel sick. Maybe it's a sign not to do drugs haha Or to take more.
