Looking at many posts on this UBB I get the impression that Shrooms are a lot of peoples favorite substance, I've even seen them described as the most Euphoric. The problem with this is that "Shrooms" isnt very descriptive. Are we talking about the 1960's favorite Psilocybin or something else because there are so many types of phycadelic mushrooms. I personally wouldnt rate Psilocybin (the MAGIC MUSHROOM) very highly but people keep saying it is their favorite drug.

Whenever I speak of shrooms im talking about psilocybin.
I find that mushrooms get better and better the more experienced you are with them. You learn what to look for, and what to do (what music to listen to, movies to watch, pictures to look at) to have a better trip.
There's no nasty physical effects (other than a little heartburn), no comedown, no hangover; you simply come up, trip out, then come down.
Of course, as with all drugs, they don't work the same for everyone. Different things have different effects on different people. You just need to find what works best for you, through safe experimentation, and have fun with it.

Unless people say otherwise, when they say "shrooms" they're almost always talking about psilocybin mushrooms.

There are various different strains of fungus that produce various kinds of mushrooms - they all contain Psilocybin as their chief psychoactive substance.
This page contains a listing of all known 'shrooms: http://www.erowid.org/plants/mushrooms/mushrooms_info12.shtml

'shrooms tend to have several different types of trips from my research:

Sometimes it's a little like an all-night drunkeness.

For other times it can feel euphoric, similar to MDMA and other ecstacy, in the sense that it becomes very *emotional*, and phyisical surroundings take on their own sensitivity.

Then, of course, there's the balls-out hallucinogenic trip - open-eye visuals, a physical sickness that can flip to an epiphany of revalation that makes only little sense the next day, etc.
--------
As with many drugs that are around today, 'shrooms are much more potent, though can be a little less pure, and much more expensive than they were in the 1960's. Possibly this leads to different psychoactive experiences ...
As always, do the research and know your supplier.
