Shrooms Reset My Brain

Ok, finally decided to post something about this after procrastinating over it. About 2 weeks ago I consumed some shrooms in the form of tea. My dose was roughly 7-9g.
Ive been doing psychedelics for about 4years now and this issue has only happened one other time. During my trip i start feeling it n all and then BAM full blown tripping, then one thing i could not get off my mind was the fact that it seems to just completely reset my mind and start fresh. I remember asking the same person about 20times in a matter of 5mins if i was laying in the middle of the street.(i wasn't thank god). So now im a little concerned with whats happening, and a little insight would be much appreciated

Now it just has me wondering if anyone else gets this issue

Sounds a lot like you were having an extreme lapse in short term memory haha. Very common with psychedelics in high doses. Part of the reasons thought loops happen I would speculate.

Makes sense thats basically what it was. I'd say every couple minutes and after that it went downhill from there for about 6-7hrs. I'm completely fine now which is good haha, that and maybe next time a better environment.

^same type of thing happens to me on high dose mushrooms or LSD.

extreme time dilation coupled with loss of short term memory makes for a hellishly confusing couple of minutes. i kept asking "WHAT TIME IS IT" and was unsatisfied with the answer because i couldn't understand what the numbers meant. i think i was really asking "how did i get in this room and how much more intense is this trip going to get?" but it's ok cuz shortly after that period of confusion i was thrust into the void of my own mind where i didn't have to worry about time at all!

hahahaha yea, thats how it went for me. Where am i!? Am i really sitting in this room?! over and over and over and over
