Hi. Im reasonably familiar with shrooms...but i may be getting some called mexican poppers? ive never heard of them, just the regular mexican kind, The person that is getting them said, of course, that like only 2g will make me trip. Im pretty sketch about this...and was wondering if anyone has heard of these?

Edit: He is growing them =)

never heard of that. might be talking about the sclerotia-forming species (philosopher's stones) but i think you need slightly more of those to get off.

there are a number of exotic species, but they are rarely seen beyond those who grow them due to their difficulty.

sounds to me like you will be needing some dipping sauce and plenty cold beer.. ;)
let us know if the mariachi band in your head gets too loud...

I've never heard that nickname but there are many strains of psilocybe mushroom so it's probably just a local nickname for one of them that grows primarily in Mexico, I guess? I've definitely had batches of shrooms where 2g was plenty for most people to have an intense, visually active trip.

They'll just be standard cubensis. You have different varieties of cubensis so presumably these are the mexican strain. All cubensis strains are pretty much the same.

^as above, ps. mexicana are a sclerotia-forming exotic species, and not likely to be seen unless you grow them yourself. the easiest to grow are ps. cubensis, and there are tons of strains that are all basically the same.

I have 30 grams of the mexicana A strain, very fresh and good looking no-foul-smell-kinda truffles... just chop them up into very tiny pieces and use 00 gelcaps to bypass any taste, works great, too bad I have a natural high tolerance but I have two other strains to play with (lab-grown) still :D.

Philosopher Stones rule. %)

There is a better fourm for this question, but i dont belive I can link to it...

It is focused on Shroom cultivation and types.. google around for it...
