Shrooms: Is this normal?

So I took about 2 g of shrooms last night and the whole time my sinuses were hurting and on fire, my throat was hurting, then my whole body was stinging and I felt like I had a fever and I couldn't stop crying. I never really hallucinated, but I felt like I was loosing my mind. I usually kinda trip naturally from time to time where I have way too many thoughts at once and can't keep up with one and I feel like I'm in another perspective and all that happend with the trip is that got way more intense and I couldn't stop freaking out and being wierd because i would say everything the wrong way and slightly offensive, part of the wall was green for a minute, and I was uncontrollably sad. It was basically just a WHOLE LOT of pain and feeling sick like I have the flu. I had a fever at that point, I never felt nauseous though. I was in an uncomfortable atmosphere in a place I didn't feel safe but couldn't get home and couldn't even leave because cops were raiding ppl outside to top it off. The thing I'm freaked out about though is how sick I still feel today almost 36 hrs later and my head is still screwing up really bad. I basically still feel all of the effects I was feeling last night but less severe. How do I make it go away? I'm so traumatized and don't know how do get back to normal. I want the chatter and horrible feelings to go away it's driving me crazy. Am I supposed to feel like I have the flu with no fever for a few days after ingesting these?

Here's some info on the shrooms. It was the bottom of the whole batch so there was mostly powder and stems. They were white/grey with a few tiny yellow/orange caps and black on the ends of the stems. One stem had mold on it and they were very chewy.

Thanks for any help. I wish I could explain it better.

The physical symptoms aren't consistent with a bad trip. Sinus/throat pain, body pain, and fever are not normally associated with mushrooms, even in the case of a bad trip... Could it be that you were coming down with a cold/flu when you dropped? Did other people have good experiences with that batch of mushrooms? Usually mold on shrooms = no good.

Mold is NOT going to cause that kind of instantaneous reaction, LOL. Silly theory IMO. Shrooms CAN AND DO cause a wide variety of physical reactions, they are very powerful, and you combine that with a bad psychological trip reaction and that is what the OP experienced. Had ZERO to do with mold.

That sounds a little serious. It may be worth your while to drop into a clinic and have them check you out. The mold you described on the mushrooms may have been poisonous. You probably started to have a bad trip on top of that, due to what was happening to your body, which would explain your emotions and reactions. Try eating healthily and drinking lots of water, it may help to wash out the toxins from your system.

i agree with the above poster. might be a good idea to go to a doc and have them check you out a bit.

i dont think it was only a bad trip, the symptoms sound a bit too rough and physical for that. but at the same time, something didnt go down well, might be the mold and that you had an allergic reaction (either to the mold or something in the powder, or mold that you didnt see/notice). try staying away from psychedelics and drugs for a few days, live well, take care and dont overstress yourself.

if your really worried see a doc,
but mushrooms effect every one VERY differently,
some people are fine and can even go to work, school and seem normal,
though a bit too happy..
while other go crazy and run around naked and eat mud.

its a matter of readiness and awareness,
you just have to go with it,
and though the body load is a bit rough it will pass,
and the trip can be wonderful,

my advice take a break,
and try 3 g in your room, or a place you feel comfortable in,
the day before,
sit where you are going to trip,
and do what you are going to do during the trip.
then the next day trip.
have a plan, follow it,
don't wander off,
if your tripping STAY IN THE ROOM YOU STARTED TO TRIP IN,
ive had one trip where i kept thinking, i have to go get a blanket,
then i went downstairs and ended up wondering outside in a blizzard and slept under a bridge in the park,
