hi, just wondering if anyone has found or even tried to find some libs in Northern Ireland. If so how good was the find.

Not too long ago you could buy fresh psylocybin mushrooms legally in Ireland. It's a shame they made them illegal a couple years ago. This probably wasn't the case in Northern Ireland though as it is part of the U.K.

Shrooms could be bought legally in the UK until a coupla years ago. Was a sad day when that loophole was closed

Fortunately, Liberty Caps grow like a carpet across most of the UK come autumn so not long to wait

I don't know where abouts you live in Northern Ireland - but they're hard not to find up here on the north coast. Not too easy to find a good spot in heavily urbanised areas though. If you're living in Belfast or Derry - travel to a town outside of there and try golf courses, cricket grounds, football fields etc.

My best supplier is people's gardens.

But aye - just wait till it's the season and go a wee dander Good luck!

Wouldn't be surprised, they grow EVERYWHERE.

@OP your out of season but come that period they are around in the plenty, you just have to go hunting, peoples gardens sometimes really can be the best place. If you want some why not try growing your own?

Aye, right enough - Last time I checked, all the materials for growing were readily available in Belfast headshops.

Just grow your own mate, its a gift to do. Plus its a good hobby with a good bit of interest. Nothing better than eating your own grown shrooms.

I'm always keeping an eye out when they are in season but may just have a dig at growing my own too. :D

Can't speak for the north but anecdotally Gorey town park may be a good spot if you're ever in the area.

Bear in mind people, if you talk about spots on the internet ANYBODY can read it. And before long your spots get raped by people who can't pick mushrooms and entire fields die out.

i pick them every year they are really easy to find - but also it is pish easy to grow all kinds just buy a legal mushroom growing kit and then buy a syringe with spores of the mushrooms you want to grow. inject this instead of the legall one you get with the kit!

Magic mushrooms grow all over the UK, Ps. semilanceata (libs) being the most common but also Pan. subbalteatus and Ps. cyanescens (wavy caps, cyans).

You just need to get out there an look.
