Shrooms-First Time-Testing the Waters

So me and my wife had a nice night to our selves at a classy casino room (no kids,no noone) and brought an 1/8 of shrooms to enjoy for the first time!
I crushed them up and divided the powder and chunks equally in glasses, pour a little bit of koolaid and bombs away! By the way, anyone who can eat them my hats off to you! I have a STRONG stomach and that made me gag!

We have been lookin at bluelight for ?'s bout hippyflippin and still didn't know what we wanted to do!?! bout half an hour after ingesting the caps we decided that we would take 1 x pill each just to help make sure we had happy thoughts!

After that I was feelin mellow (like after a joint) so I went into the jaccuzi tub in the room and sat in there feeling a little sick. Next thing I know my girl comes laughing her ass off into the bathroom for probably 10 minutes real life time(coarse seemed like years) It was irritating my high so I left her to laugh (my high seemed to go in a spiritual route)

Now in these rooms there is a 42inch LCD plasma tv that I had left on (I'll explain something bout these tvs later cause I want you to see what I went through!) As I walk by and look at the screen I am all of a sudden in the appalacian mountains!! I feel a cool cold breeze (yeah not cold cold I know) and snow and my feet felt like they where sinking. Next thing Im in Italy looking at beatiful arcitect admiring life and god's work (I told you it was spiritual for me!!) Then my brain said wait a tick and I stepped back from the TV for a second! It was the TV in the room makin these pics! Apperantly it had a screen saver if u left it on that showed different pics of landscapes around the world!! This became a fav to look at all night! Especially the dessert pics!

So it was a blast w/all the wavy effects and the mind thought! Couple of my FAVORITE thing was
1)When I closed my eyes I could SEE the music, we listned to alot of Gorillaz
2) If you have seen Avitar u know what Im sayin! I felft like when I was in the water I could control it (not like splashing) like I could make a ball of it!Later in bed I thought I could do it with air too!
3)The melting feeling was great!! I absolutly LOVED feeling like i was melting into something!

And as a last note when I was goin pee (Im male) i was starin at the walls and it looked like it was crawlin w/caterpillars! Turns out that they carpeted the bathroom walls?!? Any ways, so I put my hand on the wall to touch them and started giggling cause they tickled my hand!! THATS THE MEMORY THAT MAKES ME WANT TO DO IT AGAIN!3

My first time on shrroms was my only 'fun' time, my only recreational time doing them. The next times I couldn't stand the social situation. Next time I suggest you put on some of your favourite music, lay down and trip the whole time with your eyes closed it is amazing. You just reminded me when I was taking a piss my first time and the toilet bowl started to close in on itself which lead me to hold in a shit for the next mushroom trip lol.

Thanks for sharing your first experience! Like Don Luigi said, though, please be aware that many mushroom trips are not "fun" or recreational. They can often become very serious and frightening. However, that kind of trip is what will provide you with the most valuable and memorable type of experience.

Hmm, that must've been potent mushrooms because I split an eighth with a friend and I just felt really stoned and no visuals, no closed-eye either.

The taste of shrooms doesn't bother me, actually... they taste like a less bitter version of walnuts.

^^ Actually, sounds more like your mushrooms were weak. If you got some good ones, a half an eighth would have given you at least a light trip.

First time's always the best.
For me, similar to your wall of catapillars, slanted ceilings tend to turn into
waterfalls, which is super cool, becuase it kinda looks like you're under the
waterfall. Things "breathing" is definately the best part of shrooms.
A coffee table did a dance for me my first time. Haha!

i HATE the taste of walnuts haha

i have absolutely no problem with the tastes of shrooms....but god...if i ever needed to purge something, all i would have to do is touch walnuts to the inside of my mouth.


my first trip on these was also the only "fun" one.
ive had good trips after this, but none like that first one....its sort of like the first one was really "childish" almost and the others have all been "adult" if that makes any sense.

I'd describe the taste more like carob. But most people probably don't like that taste either.

Shroom guru Terence McKenna suggested taking heroic doses (quarter z or more) then sitting alone in a dark quiet room (no music) and getting the pure effect.

Since I have nothing better to do at work, I am going to write about my first time tripping out on mushrooms. this was about 10 years ago when I was 16 or 17 years old.

I and another 3 or 4 friends all were able to get our mits on some shrooms. We split them up so we each had an eighth which anyone will agree is a proper amount for your first time. I wasn't new to pot, but that was all I had tried before this.

we ate them in the early or mid afternoon during a weekend (or maybe summer weekday). I didn't mind the taste, kinda bland and chewy, but not rubbery. after swallowing I had the rush of excitement - The trip was immenant! we drank some OJ thinking that would enhance the experience. I kept waiting for things to happen. We had some other friends with that were not ready to try it, and they agreed to drive us around. woo hoo!

Our first decision after ingesting proves we had no idea what to expect. As we started to feel a little funny, the body high starting up, we decided to go to the Mall of America (we all live in the Twin Cities in MN). If you haven't been there- it has 4 major departments stores on each corner (giant square shape) and various stores in between. 4 floors. The people there vary, lots of young kids, lots of white trash, lots of ghetto kids, etc... The place is kind of shitty. Also has a 16 plex movie theater. anyway..

It was like entering a giant ride or fun house. this was going to be our playground for a while. We had no idea how we would look to anyone else, nor did we care. As soon as we stepped inside I started tripping my nuts off . The floor in my periphrial vision curled upwards. I looked over at my friend and he was staring at something laughing uncontrollably. I didn't even have to ask. The weird body high turned more into a sort of pleasurable energy flow. Just ride with it I thought. We wandered about giggling like children and exploring the visuals.

Now normally- I would NEVER choose this environment for shrooms. all the people, the stores.. That mall is a horrible place to be while sober.

We stopped into a Hot Topic store where I felt very comfortable. I listened to music at a thingy and felt as if I was turning into a tree - the music was like this foam filling me up and making me solid. One of the 6 CDs that were playing was a Marilyn Manson disc with some clown on the cover. It looked like he was pressing his face against the disc's plastic like it was a window. But it wasn't scary.

Then I saw someone with a baby. They baby looked like a cyclops and made some noise. I totally lost it and starting laughing really loud and uncontrollably. I was tearing up. I'm sure I was making a scene, but we never got bothered.

Of course those of us that were tripping stayed together exploring the mall. the rest of the guys, well, they weren't on the same level. We just went to random stores and played around. I remember feeling like I was melting into the glass cases.. the floor in the mall was all bumpy and wavey..

Then we left and went to the grocery store. The colors were amazing, the rows of products, all the same, yet all standing out. We were checking out and my friend at the last minute decided against buying some juice. He placed it in the magazine rack and put a magazine in front of it so no one would notice. It was so absurd. to my right my other friend was buying something. he went to pay and he just had $2 in his hand and he was laughing uncontrollably. The clerk new we were up to something, but she wasn't giving us a hard time.

It was one of my hardest and best trips, but at the worst location. at the time it was ok, but never there again. My only other time tripping in public, which I hate, was at a Theme park with roller coasters and stuff.
all I have to say about that is

GO TO AN IMAX THEATER WHILE TRIPPING sometime in your life.
