shrooms and a head cold??!!

SWIM has experimented with shrooms several times before. However, SWIM would like to try again this week but has a pretty bad cold with congestion, sinus pressure, etc... Swim is wondering if it is a bad idea or if there are any other experiences out there of other SWIMS with shrooms and a head cold.

I would have to recommend waiting it out.

Not wanting to change my plans to trip with some friends, I took some mushrooms while a little sick once. While it wasn't a bad trip or anything, I feel being sick did degrade the experience somewhat. I was less able to get into the trip and there was increased bodily discomfort compared to tripping while at full health. I felt drained of physical and mental energy, and thus the trip was pretty bland.

I done shrooms whilst headcolded before and felt the symptoms alleviate greatly much like when doing MDMA with a mild cold....However I did also do it once and it totally fucked me up, I were a right alkie mess then though so that effect is probly worth discarding.

anyways, psychedelics tend to accentuate and intensify reality/situations.
no doubt that the shrooms would make you more aware of your cold.

personally, i'd wait it out till you feel better, then take them.
with psychedelics i always get weird sinus interactions, especially on lsd.
im talking about when ive been completely not blocked up or anything...

Ive eaten shrooms many times when I had a cold, and everytime my cold completely went away while I was tripping. My nose completely cleared up, drainage went away, and so did my sore throat. I remember noticing that this wasnt a small change, and I felt like i was completely cured of my cold. It did come back the next day though
