first post in this category :)

as i said i will be shrooming this week hopefully thursday night. I did shrooms for my first time back in august and it wasnt good for me since i had two friends over that did them as well. I did the remaining shrooms the following day alone and it was an awesome experience as i found out i prefer to trip alone. Flash forward to now, im wondering what i can do that would possibly make my trip better. When i tripped i loved to walk around my block so i was thinking that a park late at night would be ideal if the weather is okay. is that a good setting? the park is visible from my house.... and next door to the park is a fire station XD

also any trip items that would be fun? for example my ipod possibly, i hear about people having trip toys but they never list what they bring.

p.s. im not trying to get all cracked out from the items like vicks and ecstasy together and im not trying to just be all high and hallucinate off the shrooms. its recreational tho and i love the thoughts i get plus the chance to solve my problems/mistake

Parks/woods/ponds are nice but the ones I'm used to are generally pretty heated at night(same for train stations which are usually nice spots). I found that the benches or steps at churches are actually some of the chillest spots to hang out during night or day. You wouldn't believe the show a street light put on for us one night by one of the local churches near a playground.
Walk around the neighborhood is always cool, just so long as there are sidewalks and there aren't a lot of gawkers on the porches. I like long secluded roads that don't get a lot of foot traffic so I don't have to worry about interacting with people. I have a local park/trail that's great for trips but it does get a lot of people, though they've never been too much of an issue during my trips and they usually bring some good vibes because they're so friendly and just enjoying a nice day like yourself.

I'm actually in walking distance to a museum so I've always considered going there during a trip, the butterfly room would be amazing. I have a lot of walking trails in my area too which are nice, especially if you get a lot of variety of shady and non shady areas.

If I had a bike (can't wait to get one, so perfect for trips) I'll be able to bike to a lot of nice areas too like rivers and such. The beach and mountains are also great places to be around. I'm not too close to the beaches anymore but now I'm closer to the mountains.
As for trip toys, I just made a recently discovery. Eletroplankton for the Nintendo DS... amazing stuff but it could end up bugging some people out.

Anyways you got the idea, if you can handle being outdoors it's great and walking around is the perfect way to feel active and not trapped indoors. Walking and trips go together very well just make sure to find a spot to sit once in a while and just soak in the scenery if you have a nice area.

If you're planning on walking around the park by yourself I would recomend a small (under 2g) dose, especially considering that you're fairly inexperienced. Seeing that the park is in such close proximity to your house it seems like it would be quite enjoyable and safe. As long as you're not making a scene or anything I dont think the fire station should be a problem.

I would definitely take the iPod too. I love listening to music and swinging on swings while tripping. :)

look up how to lemontek you mushies, makes the whole experience much more "enjoyable" and "cleaner". The outdoors is always your friend on mushrooms, however parks past closing next to fire stations probably are not. Also coming up on mushrooms always makes me feel pretty cold so depending on where you live you may want to dress appropriate
