well I have never went shroom hunting before (been saying i will since i was lke 15 but still havent, the downsides to living in a city)

But it starts from late July to September if i'm right (of course soon as the 1st frost comes along it's over)

I would say find a grower or grow yourself because it is easier and safer. You know the dose better and you know you aren't getting poisoned.

check it out lol there is alot of info on the web about this subject but i truly believe that to be safe at least go take a class on mycology before you attempt to identify wild mushrooms. If you eat the wrong one you could get horribly sick(severe gastronomic problems) or worse some shrooms are even deadly.

you have to know the species that live in your area, and become intimately acquainted with their habitat and time of year.

for example, along the coast of OR and WA there are species that grow on woodchips during september and october.

florida grows cubensis in cow manure whenever the temperature is 70-80f and high humidity.

used to do a bit of shroom hunting back in the early 2000's. Not sure where you are, but you'll need to figure out which type of shrooms grow in your area & then read up on their growing conditions. Then you'll also need to know which shrooms to pick, this is the most important part because you could potentially die from a mistake. A field identification guide as well as an experienced shroom hunter from your area would be bare minimum necessities to do it safely.

I don't think you seem to understand that if you eat the wrong type of mushroom you will KILL yourself.

I'm sorry, but you are way too uneducated to be worrying about shroom trips. It's clear in your posts. Spend a few weeks researching, then come back.
