Should we trip at the aquarium or the zoo?

i havent done either, but i think the aquariam will b alot better,

zoos are cool to see the different animals, but they are in small confined cages, doesnt give the feel of it being that natural.
 
In monterey bay you can touch the rays as they swim, as well as certain turtles and I think maybe an otter, which is probably the cutest and neatest little furry animal I've ever seen.. Now that I figured out a good dose range for iprocin, I'm gonna trip down there and I'm positive it will be amazing. Hope your trip is, too!
 
Sorry guys, bit of a hijack but inspired by the pics of jellyfish. I haven't tripped before but want to soon! Would seeing something scary while on a trip be a freak-out? I have quite a fear of jellyfish, those pics freaked me out, and I was thinking "An aquarium! Awesome!" ... but would I flip out worse than usual? I can flip out pretty bad at freaky underwater stuffs :(
 
Well, I think it's safe to say you want to avoid anything you have a phobia for when you're tripping, and in general =D

^ good point! Thanks :) I was entertaining the thought of the fear maybe being less than usual, wouldn't have been pretty to discover otherwise!

Zoo for me :D Tropical birds and butterflys...
 
I dont know how yall can get bugged out by that shit man. its so fuckin cool. nothing scares me when im tripping. maybe thats a bad thing. well except the cops i am scared of that but otherwise there aint anythign i can think of that would get me "freaked out" i never had that happen.

so i gues my viewpoint is a bad one as far as that goes but i woudl still say the aquarium, zoo is boring plus they all in cages and you might start bein like "oh the poor animals all locked up they are prisoners" and go on some insane slavery and bnodage mental loop or somethin LOL.

iunnow bout yall but they got some BIG aquarioums. the baltimore aquarium, i been to that when i was a little kid, holy shit that was cool. the camden aquarium is pretty big too. i think theres one in NYC in part of the museum of natural history. but shit i dont know. seems like there should be
 
yea, zoo's depress me for sure on that caged up animal note while sober anyhow i'd imagine it would be intesified while trippin.

go to the aquarium. i used to trip out watching schools of neon tetras in our own little fish tank at home, i'd love to visit a huge aqaurium on acid.
 
damn jellyfish! they're so pretty until you get stung by one =[ it hurts like hell

i'd go to the aquarium, it just seems more suiting for an acid trip and if i can get my hands on some, i'll be visiting the aquarium in long beach =D
 
Anyone have any experiences trippin at places with less animated attraction? I was thinkin about this thread earlier and I'm considering going to a gem/mineral mueseum or art muesuem on mushrooms or MDMA or both. I've only been stoned st mueseums...I'm a lil afraid of trippin there.
 
I dont think I could handle tripping at a zoo [never have never will] because I know I would get in a mind frame about how cruel it is to have animals in cages for personal entertainment. It would ruin my trip.

Now you would think an aquarium would be the same but for some reason the intrigue with animals from the deep seem to push me thru the captivity barriers associated with the zoo.

I myself couldnt handle the crowds associated with those establishments. Maybee on a low dose for the aquarium.

I'd prefer to go to a museum. I want to see Alex Grey's Chapel of Sacred Mirrors or the exhibit of BodyWorlds2
 
the royal museum in edinburgh has an exhibition of various rocks and minerals in a darkened room. you can press a button and it replaces the subdued visible light with ultraviolet light and all these boring looking stones come alive in a forest of amazing colours.

i visited that while tripping on acid once and it was great. they also have whale and dinosaur skeletons which are interesting at any time, let alone tripping :)

Yes. But only if it is a zoo/aquarium you have been to before.

In saying that though, I would avoid the Aquarium if it is the type where you travel under the water, this may freak you out and the one I usually go to (Sydney) can get a little crowded.

Zoo on the other hand is an experience to say the least, plus there are lots of open spaces and secluded sections where you can just chill out and relax.

^ Ok. Not sure if you have been there before, so I will just assume you haven't (if you have you will know what I am on about).

Basically it is all indoors, relatively narrow corridors and then you go deep under the surface of the harbour. If you go in the school holidays there will be a lot of people there (and I mean a lot!). Also if it is a hot day it will be very humid and muggy in there.

My advice, don't do it. I haven't done it but I could see that if things went slightly bad for you they could get really REALLY bad very quickly.

If its a good day, Go to Taronga. Thats one place I have tripped and it was an amazing day. Trust me ;)
 
i jsut post in PD about this. i'd preffer my first to be in a place i felt safe like a home or a friend place. but i'd have to vote aquarium. water is neat and clour fash are too. well while tripping. my new favorite spot to trip is this large parking block right next my girlfriends work. see the whole city. even when your not tripping its amazing. just a lik personal expericne. good luck( unless you've already done it then i'm jelious *scowl*)

GREAT IDEAS! i never thought of going to either of these places. id rather go to the aquarium becuase the blue water and zoos smell bad
