Heroin Should snorting heroin burn?

I have been using heroin off and on for the past year. I am not an IV user, I prefer the snorting method. My question is, does good quality heroin burn your nose and sore throat upon snorting? I have heard various things and I would just like to know if the burning is a good thing? Thank you all in advance for any advice and answers

Snorting anything, aside from maybe cocaine due to its local anesthetic properties, will burn to varying degrees. There's no way to measure the quality of your dope by how much it burns.

I been trying H the past few days and snorting it and I haven?t really been getting high at all... I usually take 120 mg of oxy at once . But it was killing my pockets so i tried H but so far it?s wack.. idk what?s wrong it?s gotta b h cause it? takes away withdrawals and shit maybe I?m not doing enough lmao.
