Should I try Alprazolam to boost Tramadol effects?

I have some Alprazolam right now and wonder if this Benzo has the ability to enhance Tramadol effects.
Do Benzos and Tramadol potentiate each other? Plus I want to know if such combo is really safe.

as a general rule of thumb; all benzos potentiate all opiates. this can result in CNS depression and death.
if you aren't familiar with either of these substances i wouldn't combine them

I wouldnt i thought xanax made me high so i was taking it everyday all day for a few years but i cant tell you how many years so looking back i really just lost aa year or three who knows because i just dont remember
