Misc Should I tell my doctor I'm self medicating?

Short answer: no. But it really depends on the doctor. I had one who didn't care, while I don't bring it up with my current doc. I'm talking psychiatrists.

From what I've seen (and I think this is largely based on your environment so it may not be true for where you live), Adderall is prescribed like candy and anyone who asks for it gets it.

That depends what your goal is. Are you trying to find out if you really have add? Or just get an adderal script? In my opinion add and adhd are over diagnosed.

Did it help you, or did it just make you feel good. Adderal is going to make anyone focus better it's a stimulant, unless you get over stimulated and cant sit still haha. You can tell your Dr. that you tried it and he can determine if it's in your best interest to get it. Like I said it's really over prescribed so you'll probably get it. But it's a bad crutch because your going to feel shitty when your not taking it.
