should i take this lsd?

i have been fascinated by psychedelics and always wanted to take a profound mind expanding trip but never had the opportunity. my problem is that when i smoke marijuana at average doses i trip intensely! its terrifying! i cant control myself and i hallucinate simple visiuals like checkered walls and lines stuff like that. however i absolutely love salvia. i recently got some lsd 2 hits powder form. im slightly nervous about taking it, i know about not taking it until i am totally ok with it and the set and setting. i just dont want it to have adverse effects on me like thc does. i have only ever done dxm once and it was first plataeu which was amazing but not really a trippy experience. so my question is, should i taje this acid when i feel ready? and should i choose a different drug to try for the first psychedelic trip? i can obtain mescaline and im sure i could get mushrooms.
 
Erm. Are you sure its LSD? LSD doesn't normally come in powdered form. It usually comes on Blotter paper, or sometimes in liquid, and rarely as tablets (Microdots).

correct, it does, but from my understanding there arent too many people that have seen pure LSD powder, just those who make it into the other forms mentioned above. also, if im not mistaken, an average 'hit' of LSD as a powder would be hardly visible to the naked eye (if at all).
 
^Pure doses of LSD powder would be invisible to the naked eye. You probably have an RC (research chemical (a quasi-legal drug)) that has hallucinogenic effects. How much powder do you have? Is it loose or in capsules? This stuff sounds very dodgy, if you know the source well enough I would try to get your money back. If you do decide to take it, bear in mind that it almost definitely isn't acid.
 
^^^^ true, but i heard powder form is quite rare these days ? if it is the real deal i would wait of for abit, at least get abit of experience in psychadelica, try a light dose of mushrooms or something, see how you get on ?
 
ok. lol ive been through all this shit. its an rc its this its that. there is a very very small amount of powder. it is not pure. that would be ridiculous a friend of mine does acid more than most people smoke weed. he took 1 hit and said it was definitely lsd i belive it is just powder that has been dosed just the same as a blotter or sugar cube etc.
 
oh weird.

yeah, just eat it with your friend that trips all the time. he'll keep you on track.
 
either way i think im going to try for a 2nd plataeu then 3rd dxm trip first and also try a small dose of mushrooms and if all goes well, a larger dose. anyone recommend a certain dosage for mushrooms or dxm? btw im 6'4" 240 so im a pretty decent sized guy if that helps figure dosage in
