Should I switch from Adderall to Dextroamphetamine?

So as of now I get 90 30mg IR Adderall and I just recently saw that some people use dex alone. Would there be any reason I should switch? Was just wondering about asking my doctor next visit. Thanks! ?

Dex has less reported side effects. I think they added the levoamphetamine into adderall in order to deter abuse a little bit, but turns out many people like the jittery feeling.

You are on a pretty high dose for medicinal effects so it sounds like a good idea to switch. I really don't see the point of the levo isomer other than slightly lowering abuse potential as Crashing said.

I only recommend you switch to d-amp if your having negative side effects from the other amphetamine mixtures in adderall, l-amp is the cause of anxiety, crash, irritability, ..Talk to your doctor...some doctors oddly view Dexedrine as more addictive and stupidely not realizing adderall is 75% Dexedrine.My shrinks defense was Dexedrine is a purer form and easier to abuse, as I brought its in adderall and the other salts cause my anxiety, she said I dam switch finally if I wanted to, but haven't as I'm too inpatient to order it at a pharmacy as it's an oddball drug, vyvanse also I recommend, it breaks down into dextro-amp once it gets metabolized. However my insurance won't cover it so...but expect POSSIBLY feel disappointed switching to dextro amp ....when I first switched the effects were so subtle I didn't get that energy clean the whole house feeling...or the tingles...just it the focus without OCD tendency and negative side effects...but for the seasoned speed user...Dexedrine is the RX of choice

Some days I actually like the mixture of salts because it does give me those added feelings and the two together really give me that feeling that makes me want to get shit done. I prefer the mixture when it comes to taking lower doses.

If I'm dosing in the higher range I prefer just the d-amphetamine. It's more 'smooth' to me and I feel it more in my head. It's not as in your face as the mix, but it's still nice. It also doesn't give me the amazing muscle memory effect I get from the mix. The comedown is without a doubt easier to deal with for me.

True, I would use adderall if I wanted good sex with my partner or if I'm moving from apartment to apartment, Dexedrine I would take for class and my actual ADHD .

For recreational use I would definitely recommend sticking with adderal as its the strongest amphetamine other than meth but if your wanting less addiction and damage then I would switch to dextroamphetamine
