Should I expect withdrawals from 2 straight days of Heroin use ?

What kind of withdrawals are we looking at here ?

I have a naturally low tolerance to opiates but I've been using Heroin for the past two days (well, this is day two, and I want to take a break for a week or so after today).

Day 1; 10mg of H every hour for 3-4 hours

Day 2; 10mg of H every hour (until I decide enough and go to sleep)....

Would this regimen of doses / usage bring about withdrawal symptoms the next day(s) ?

It matters how long you have been using heroin overall and what your past usage is like as well. Tell us a little about that.
 
No, you shouldn't expect withdrawals. If you expect them then your mind might play games on you making the symptoms seem worse than they are. If you do actually have any withdrawal, you will just have a little bit of restless legs for a night but that's about it. Don't read into withdrawals too much otherwise you will trick yourself into thinking you should be experiencing them. I would never expect to have withdrawals after 2 days of low doses of heroin.
 
yeah agreed with tommy.

you may experience a few small rebound symptoms but nothing too harsh. keep busy and occupied if you do notice them to keep your mind from exacerbating things.

Unless you've used heroin a lot in the past or were doing a pattern like 1 day off 1 day on for a long time, you should be fine. Might feel a little bit depressed but no actual withdrawal symptoms. 2 days is not long enough to create a dependence. It's a very good idea for you to stop now and take a break for at least a week.

I'm not a regular heroin user. My usage is quite rare, maybe 1-2 times every 2-3 months , something along those lines.

Same goes for any other opiates I use.

I'll try not to look into things too deeply here, just keep myself busy and if not, at least positive.
 
I usually use for 4-5 days straight something like .25g-.5 IV and then stop..I get minor sweats and yawning maybe some runny nose and irritability but very mild.
 
That depends on whether or not you've been dependent on opiates/oids before. I had a month or so extreme mental and somewhat physical withdrawal followed by a couple months of apathy after trying an opiate once whereas I hadn't had one for almost a year, and had been addicted to them for only six or so months several years beforehand. Its all about the connection your brain creates with the drug.

Think of it like the philosopher's cursed void being the drug; its fun to look at every now and then, but it has more of a potential to suck you up every time you look in it, and it will if you stare into it frequently.

And yes, there is a cross-tolerance between drugs within the same class:X.
 
No, I think you are unlikely to get WDs for using for only two days. In my experience, I have had to use heavily for at least 3 days straight in order to get WDs after any significant period of abstinence, and I am fairly experienced.
 
how can you be sure the heroin is sure enough to iv would be interested in trying this roa , i always rotate the substances use and have years various adventures remained safe from addiction.
Previous opiate exp is monthly use of pod tea and bi monthly codiene

I don't understand what you are saying. It seems you have a question since you said 'thanks in advance' but I don't see one posted, other than what seems to be the start of a question in the beginning of your post. 'How can you be sure the heroin is sure enough to iv' is the closest thing to a question, maybe you meant 'pure' instead of 'sure'. Can you clarify?

You should stick to smoking it, or if it's powder heroin #4 you could sniff it. IVing it is more of a last resort. We always recommend using a micron filter because you don't know how pure the heroin is or what it's cut with, and most people that IV heroin will keep IVing even if a batch of it looks almost fake. I don't know what the standard would be for 'pure enough to IV' though.
 
Don't shoot it by yourself if you do decide to find a friend to watch always on your first iv of any drug please. Friends are free they just might save you.
 
I'm going to echo what the other posters have said here. If you're concerned about withdrawals, IVing is the absolute last thing you should be doing with heroin (or any other opiate).
