I've been taking percs for a couple weeks now after 3 years of absolutly nothing. Before that I was an H addict and even before that I used to do the pill thing. That's how most H addicts get started. I started messing around again due to severe mouth pain and I guess I liked it too much. Anyway, I usually stay around 3900 APAP b/c that's what the math turns out to be. If anybody has ever been hooked on percs they know what I'm talking about. The past couple of days I've gone slightly over the 4g mark for APAP and yesterday I went up to 5g. I'm a little paranoid and I was just wondering what some ppl may think. I'm going to tone it down a little but should I be concerned about the past few days??? :?

I wouldn't make a habit of it, but in all honesty going over the daily safe limit a few times is very unlikely to cause any great harm unless you have liver problems. I would recommend looking into Cold Water Extraction if you wish to use pills with a high paracetamol content like those though.

Yeah...but I try to do the CWE on like 2 or 3 10/650 and it doesn't work out for me. I 've done it just like the instructions say and it doesn't work. Maybe I'm getting some bad instructions or I'm misunderstanding something...but thanx

Yes, you probably should be concerned. This is how liver damage can occur, chronic daily dosing of acetaminophen. You really shouldn't ever take 4g, much less exceed that limit.

You need to give your liver a rest, and not take any acetaminophen/ drink any alcohol for a week or two at least. I would also suggest taking s-adenosyl-l-methionine (also sold as SAMe or Methionine) anytime you take acetaminophen. I take 400mg of it with every 500mg of acetaminophen that I ingest, because it can help counteract the damaging effects of acetaminophen.

I would love to take a break but I'm at the point where I'm starting to get sick w/o it. I need to either get a few days off of work or get some things to help come off first.

In the short term you are probably fine, but long term you will need to limit the APAP. If you really are concerned that might already have liver damage the best way to find out would be to get LFTs (liver function tests).
