Should I be concerned with tapering? [Valium]

Hi all,

I have never taken benzos before and I recently came upon some Valium. Ingested 5mg per day for 4 days and 10mg on the 5th day. Day 6, today, is the first day of abstaining completely. Should I be concerned with withdrawal symptoms/seizure risk? Should I taper?

You have absolutely no reason to taper. Your use does not warrant it in anyway. You're not at risk of any (serious) withdrawal symptoms. The worst that could happen is some mild insomnia and rebound anxiety which will subside in 2-3 days.
