Opioids Should I be able to swap kratom for pain meds or will I be in withdrawal

I’m a daily user of 6 gps of kratom.

I have hydrocodone pills to take for 10 days while my tooth implant heals up and I was wondering if I should 1) quit my kratom and just take the hydrocodone, 2) take both, 3) take more kratom instead of the Vicodin thanks!
 
taking both the kratom might overpower the hydrocodone, though your krat dose is low. if not in capsules the hydro might just be a better idea for a wound to heal. withdrawal would be minor if it happened at all
 
If you are looking for legit pain relief, I would stop kratom and only take the hydros, especially if you are tolerant to the kratom.

I wouldn't combine them. The kratom alkaloids might compete and make the hydros less effective.

Plus, you'll enjoy a nice little tolerance reset to the kratom if you take a few days off.

Got hydro fives for a dental fuck up coming off the 5 her and 2 kratom years. Took the hydros. Had to take 8 of them to feel a something and even then it was like two partial agonists kind of. Like you could feel the hydro wanting to be a full agonist but you could feel the kratom kind of blocking that from happening fully.

Idk. Needless to say I ran through that whole script in about six days.

And it kinda worked.

But it definitely wasn’t the awesome sensation of a full agonist unobstructed by a partial agonist.

I don’t recommend it.

I would stash the Vicodin until you can legitimately kick the kratom and give yourself a full reset to naivety and then dip into the stash.

But with an active kratom use pattern. I found hydrocodone to be absolutely useless.
 
i was at about an oz of krat a day , no other opiod tolerance took 80mg hydro before bumping up to 100mg a few years ago- the interference is real. so if possible and desire to use recreationally, the krat should be fine if not more effective than the rx dose
