Should heroin addicts be forced to pay for their own 'treatment'?

Well I'm guessing if all the alias's are tied then yes he is the same person as Laurence Perkins but could well be wrong. Any way which you dice it's all bullshit anyway I don't the "my friends were drug users that's why I hate them" story. It doesn't work like that.
 
Im an addict from spinal discease ! Take away my methadone and other treatments as a society voting. I would refuse society and leave no one in my path the pity that hence taken of me.
 
Does the OP not single out heroin addicts, as opposed to those addicted to prescribed painkillers? Worlds of difference.
 
I certainly agree with a lot of what s/he has to say, but I would advocate more hands-on, short-sharp-shock treatment.
 
If you have nothing constructive to add to the thread can you simply stop posting.

On topic, I think treatment should be free.
 
I pay so much tax each year there are always going to be thousands that I don't agree with how is spent. I'm not about to cry about it because I probably waste just as much myself.
 
Yeah of course....all "junkie skum" should be made to wear orange and black striped jump suits and break rocks in 40degree heat until they learn the erroes of their filthy ways......(joke :))
 
You should renegotiate your contract to work only on commission. I find it so much more productive and satisfying to dictate when you want to go home
