Well I tried getting insurance, first at the most reputable places/thru my wife's university/using the I'm foreign and come from a place where health is provided for free and is awesome, but I hate everywhere I live.... The way I was labeled as a druggie for being scripted bupe and benzos, most of the times not even by dr.'s but by black overweight women with anger issues that couldn't understand how a cracker like me had such a weird life story....and the attitude of we're Politically Correct but We;re the coolest, and seeing hiow fucktards behave in every part of brooklyn from the ghettos where you cop to the hipster parts that look like graffitied landfills from East Berlin and properties are thousands of dollars a square foot...I ended up living in South Bronx and looking at the cheapest insurance plans, damn I even spoke in spanish at the last one I went and basically they said they could cover some things but not all since they were not technically an insurance company, but a medical aid company nor whatever and that they worked mostly for construction workers without visas/with short work visas....and that they didn't allow buprenorphine or any kind of maintenance....I looked up on SAMSHA, Went and talked with Doctors at Columbia Uni, and basically I was fucked cause I came as a buprenorphine patient...so I had to get a private doctor that scripted bupe and pay for it and get no co-pay and they were gonna lower my benzos,lyrica,zolpidem....so basically once my 1year supply was out I had to quit all my meds (irony is I quit bupe) or start having to pay a shitload.....I did everything the right and legal way, and I saw all these illegals that didn't even care about having insurance, thought they were never gonna have an accident, etc... and they had it so much easier... damn, I've been and lived in America a lot, mostly from 2003 onwards.....and really my last time in NY/NJ was tough, and I love NE USA with all my heart.....but it was really depressing seeing what the land of the free and home of the brave became....basically if you are a retard and do things wrong and claim ignorance and look foreign it's all cool, if you do all legally, want to work legally, fill out all the legal paperwork, work legally, pay your taxes, get insurance, become a citizen the legal way, it's frustrating.....what a shame...the whole insurance thing made me remember.....I paid $4 for some scripts and $200 for others, sometimes doctors wouldn't come to my place saying the area wasn't safe at night...anyway I know for a fact in many countries generic meds have way less active ingredient than they say it does, damn the machinery they use to make those pills are probably old and faulty and the alprazolam powder might not be dosed correctly...benzos are so common and cheap to mass produce I don't think they are bunk but just generic low dose...white privilege, lol...things have changed a lot...sadly for the worse imo, and our generation will be the one most affected by the shock...next time up there I might change my mind, but I just see a general dumbing down, and the younger generation being brainwashed by anti american pseudo marxists at universities, and trash elsewhere, and immigrants doing the work if they are ethnic enough, but if they look/sound local, especially in NY, that's so not cool...such a racist society that it's gonna self destroy with political correctness due to it's obsession with race...I thank the commies for keeping the world bipolar.....nowadays the stress is unbearable....and i know I'm right.....you might think whatever you want, that I'm a conservative racist extremist ignorant....but those are all things I'm really not and that you americans are subconsciously sucking up due to unnecessary guilt.....if so like all germans should be executed following the same logic...Respect, Amor De Rey!!!
