Short Story Contest - Gravy!

Ok, Words is holding a short story contest, where the topic will be gravy!

Rules
1. The story has to be 1000 words or less - I will be checking in Google Docs!
2. The story has to relate to gravy in some way - what gravy you choose or how it relates is up to you.
3. You have one month to complete said task.
4.Do not plagiarize

The title that will be awarded is Words Short Story Contest Winner!

Please send your admissions to ad lib, alasdairm, Vaya, or myself.

I expect to see some great stories!

Lol.. I can't write a story like that.
That was me joking.
Plus the judging would be biased.
Won't go into detail why.
I can do a freestyle with the word gravy in it.. that's bout it.
 
Ok.. but final question.
Would a corny "rap" about gravy count? lol.
That's basically what I do, I'm a lyricist not a writer.

I could try to tell a story through rhyme.
It would be hard to keep the entire thing on gravy though lol.
I might pass this contest up.

I sent mine in a while ago.
It was kinda short but at least I can't say I didn't try lol.
Gravy isn't really "my cup of tea" lol.

Do we get to see all submissions? But just posted anonymously so we can't know who wrote what?
That would be cool.
Instead of just saying who won..
You could show us the winning one and let the winner be known, but show us what everyone else could come up with just not list the "losers" names. (Sorry, I had a lack of a better word, maybe "the people who didn't win"? lol).
