Does anyone know the negative (oh it has to be bad for you) effects GBL has on your body? I've been a lazy ass and just been using GBL instead of reacting the NaOH for GHB. I'm sure a lot of other people just use GBL out there too, but haven't come across any health related things on it.
and while i'm on the topic....
Redosing is nearly impossible with GBL, way to easy to go over. Hell even stopping usage of the drug for a prolonged time (a week) is hard. I can completly see people having to pour this down the drain to stop thier usage. A liter is a LOT of GBL to have control over.

Do the reaction. The acidity is too high for prolonged use. The reaction is easy, anyway.
GBL is about 1.6 times as strong as NaGHB. Redosing is tough.
If you are having trouble stopping now, you better didg deep and stop. For a few people, GBL/GHB can be addicting, although I cannot understand it. However, it HAS been documented.
Just return to baseline, let the dopamine level out, and your cravings will subside. Takes two weeks, tops.

Couldn't find anything specific on GBL but I found lots on GHB ... oh yeah, I found it all in under 30 seconds at Erowid ..
Ok.. I'm not actually in a cut-and-paste-a-5-page-article mood, so I will just throw out some links..
1) Main GHB Info Page
2) GHB Health info
Just play around in there and you will find your answer... MOSTLY it's safe as long as you keep yer use to a minimum...
