Shopping list for injecting kit?

All who are VERY experienced with injecting,
What is the list of things you'll need to do an IV PROPERLY?
I've decided to go ahead and try heroin, and I'd like to just make one trip to the store to pick up everything I need, sorta to minimize my anxiety level too, as well as just make sure I have it all...
Any help?

1. isopropyl alcohol 70%
2. cotton balls
3. q-tips
4. saline
5. lighter (if you don't have)
6. belt or stockings (torniquit) sp?
7. some kind of anti-bacterial soap
8. paper towels
9. metal spoon or something to house the solution
think that's it.
of course syringes, anywhere from 28 to 30 g would be best. 1 cc, though I've recently used the 1/2 cc. It IS smaller meaning less solution, but not really very uncomfortable to use, I guess unless you have big hands.
oh yeah, if you care about proper disposal of the syringes, buy a soda. and you can drink it too.
 
As a diabetic, I purchase only needles and those little packets with the iso pads in them. If you are worried about what people might think with your shopping list, go to the grocery store to find what you need.
I was at Walgreens the other day and this guy in front of me was buying a cigar in a glass tube, baking soda, foil, cigs, and a bunch of lighters. I wanted to ask him where the party was.
 
That list is correct .. saline can be scratched and you can just get a gallon of distilled water for like .50 .. if you can't get the pharmacutical saline you can get the contact stuff, it's the same damn thing (as some people said they could get the rigs but were refused the saline) .. as for buying everything at once - buy the rigs in the pharmacy, then buy all the other stuff up at the front (store) register - some $6-an-hour teenage clerk isn't going to put everything together and realize whats going on.. hell, you probably have most of that stuff in your kitchen (a belt, lighter, foil, towels, etc..)
 
If you can get 90% or 94% isopropyl go with that instead. Otherwise, sounds good.
I always just use distilled water for my shots, since saline isn't that easy to find.
 
I don't recall 90% off hand but I may be wrong, I always just grabbed the 70% .. you don't need anything higher then 70% though, you only use it for cleaning the injection site and it works just fine - plus if you're at home you can wash with soap first (as you should) ..
 
Yup, my local Walgreen's has 70% and 91% isopropyl. The 70% is indicated "for topical cleansing and as a general rubefacient" while the 91% reads "for preparation of the skin prior to an injection."
Since I always follow the labels on medicines, I went with the 91%. :)
 
i would suggest adding some kind of injectable preferably mind altering substance be added to the list, otherwise all your pretty toys will be barren and useless...
 
This goes a little off topic but in wisconsin do you need a prescription for needles? I checked one place and they said i needed a prescription. Is it just some store rule?
