Shooting stars

who else out there has witnesed shooting stars, I myself have seen them everytime I go out of a night and look upwards..
what does this mean?
Just before I seen 1 then I asked the heavens to show me another if they know Im a person we would know as a prophet...

Im interested on everyones interpertations of this
