Harm Reduction shooting oral liquid preparations

so what's the deal with this? i know it can't be good, but would it even work? i tried mainlining a lot of diazepam oral solution once and felt sweet fuck all...
so what's the deal? how harmful is it?
 
No no no, do not inject anything formulated for oral use.... lookup the inactive ingredients you'll see why.

Please don't. Liquid doesn't mean it's IV safe. Acetone is a liquid, so is gasoline, you can't shoot anything that's a liquid, even medications designed for ORAL use.
 
thanks for the input. i've been prescribed tramadol after surgery and it's such a substandard painkiller it hardly qualifies as an opioid. i figured maybe by shooting it i'd get a more potent analgesia out of it but after reading all the shit that's in it it's not worth the risk.
i mean i have a gaping hole in my thigh the size of a pingpong ball and my doctor won't even give me time-release dihydrocodeine.

would micron filtering an oral solution make it safe? (edit)
