40-50cc's of solution? How are you supposed to inject this?
This can work if the cottons are from heroin, it doesnt work as well with pill cottons.
This process is inherently risky, but ive done it without any cotton fever issues or any type of embolism. Doesnt mean it wont happen to you. So take all your cottons, and douse them in just enough warm-hot sterile water (or whatever you use) to get them all damp but not soaking wet. Stuff all these into a big syringe (you can go buy one of those big 10cc baby feeding syringes with the plastic curved needle like thing), and stuff all your cotton into this syringe. If you have too many cottons to fit into a big syringe or baby syringe, then you can put the wet cottons into a small french press coffee maker. So put the cottons in the barrel of the syringe, and depress the plunger, and pour the solution in a metal or glass container that is large enough to hold the amount of solution you use (premeasure the hot water you use to wet the cottons so you know the amount your dealing with). Ok, so now you have a large spoon or beaker full of this old cotton juice. It really depends on how many cottons you have, but its likely your going to have at least 2-3ml (more like 5-10ml) of solution in the large spoon or glass beaker or test tube. Now using a torch or bunsen burner quickly boil the solution. Wait a while, a do this again. You only want it to bubble for a couple seconds, and you want the whole solution to exhibit some bubbling. Now apply less heat, so that solution does not boil, but the water is evaporating. This will take a while, be patient. The reason for boiling the solution is to kill whatever micro-organisms that is in the solution, and also to REDUCE the volume of the solution, untill it decreases in volume to 1cc so you can inject it in a normal syringe. The solution should become darker and more potent the longer you slowly heat it, but again, not boiling (aside from the initial anti-microbial boiling). Depending on how you do it, you can get a relatively decent hit out of it. The quick boiling you do at first will not kill everything, and could still pose bacterial issues, but its relatively effective. If you have a .2 micron filter you dont need to boil it, because this small of a filter will remove the bacteria. But im assuming you dont have a micron filter. Doing this is definately a last ditch (and potentially dangerous) effort to get a hit, but im am sure you are aware of this. Point is, if you do it right, it should work......
Becarefull. If a cotton looks moldy or strange, do not use it...

) and how many does it take for a decent shot. and how long before it would be recommended to throw out the too-old cottons (i realize that doing this in the first place is not recommended, but i guess i mean just when it's to the point that it's just disgusting)
