SHIT! Vicodin and apap HELP!

I injested about 2500 mgs of apap last night and 3000 mgs of apap with the vicodin right now! I forget about the 24 hour rule !!! Am i gonna od...omg im freaking the fuck out liver failure hurts...FUCK
 
If it were me coming to this realization, I would go to the emergency room, tell them what happened, explain it as a complete accident (you got your bottles mixed, thought you took a different med, remembered you took Tylenol the prior day... something believable). They will examine you and if necessary, pump your stomach if it's not already too late.

Chances are you will be fine but do not risk your own life sitting on a forum waiting for someone to help. That's what the doctors are there for.

4,000mg in a 24 hour period.

I took 5500 mgs of apap within 24 hours, but again not all at once. But from what I've read it seems like its safeif your not an alcoholic or doing it everyday etc...I kinda think I'll be ok. Any more opinions would be helpful though

And the fact it wasn't all at once is.another positive that I've read?
 
Nooooo calm down buddy. Yea ur liver fuckin hates u right now but he won't be mad long. I'm an amputee and have server arthritis I guess I kinda used that cause I'm a hustler too. Used to get 90-60mg OCs along with 240-10/325mg Norco/month from one doc & not only one (I cut that shit out) plus the countless other drugs i would consume ( not proud im diff person now). But your concern is with the acetaminophen (APAP) as it should be. Well, for a yr and a half i was eatin at least 15-16 Norco daily, on top of 6-7 OCs that was two yrs ago, been tested my livers fine, as will yours be. Just don't do it regularly (the less the better). Be safe bro you'll be fine.
 
there was a time i took on a regular basis up to 30 percocet and vicodins daily and this went on for some time, so while it is not smart by any means i believe most people can tolerate quite a bit of the stuff.
 
you'll be fine.

in theory over 4000mg is an over dose. a dangerous overdose is classified by doctors as 6000+mg in one sitting.

personally i've done 9000mg in one sitting, which i don't recommend to anyone, its plain stupid. however back then i was pretty naive about what could kill me or not. i'm still here and kicking.

there are many chronic patients that take well over that amount, 10,000 - 15,000mg of the stuff a day for years and havent died yet.

while you're not completely in the clear the chances are 99% in your favour.

also -that 24 hour rule of yours isnt techincally speaking correct. paracetamol builds and accumulates in the liver and blood stream over time. while its half life is around 1-4 hours, chronic patients who continue to use paracetamol are the ones at real risk - as think about what their livers will be like after even say a month of amassing 4000mg a day.
 
You're good unless you start having these symptoms:
Abdominal pain
Appetite loss
Coma
Convulsions
Diarrhea
Irritability
Jaundice
Nausea
Sweating
Upset stomach
Vomiting

Now DON'T DO IT AGAIN! Bad baby, bad baby...;)
