Excuse me,

I was wondering how long does Oxycontin stay fresh? The shelf life.

Say if I saved one in a safe, and then 2 years later stumble across this pill, bang it up and rail it.... will I feel the effects the same? Will it be less?

THank you.

Aloha,

oxycontin has a shelf life of 1-2 years. after that, some of the chemicals in the pill may lose some of the effect, but it wont hurt you to take it.

No, I'm sure that you won't feel a thing off it/them. They are def not "fresh", please for your own safety just send them to my home address.

so----

I still need my answer. A professional answer, from a professional please.

Although I'm not a professional my mum is and from what she's told me the vast majority of sealed drugs will stay fresh for many many years, like 10~20+. The "Use by" date is a load of crap put on the packets by the manufactures to abide by various government laws.
In our medicine cupboard theres a bottle of Co-codamol which I got perscribed in 1999 we still use and a Diazepam bottle from 1994. Nothing wrong with them what so ever :)

yes, this is what i was trying to say, the oxycontin will be exactly the same as it was 2 years ago, drugs don't go bad. the only drugs that might go bad after awhile are MAYBE antibiotics, everything else is going to be good (rx anyway)
