Say you hid your LSD blotter wrapped in foil in a book and forgot where you put it and found it 8 years later... it would still be just as good.
It depends on how it was handled before it got to you and how you handle it.
The best thing to do is just keep it in something airtight in a cool dark place. Do not put it in the freezer, it's really easy for moisture to get in and ruin it.

how cool would that be? To find a ten strip wrapped in foil in a book you were reading during high school a few years later.....I'd probably do the dance of joy like ya boy from Perfect Strangers....

LSD breaks down very easily she is a very fragile little molecule very sensitve to light (like a vampire) and heat (like an eskimo) and air (like a cigarette smoker).
The main by-product from poor synthesis or "neglected" acid is iso-LSD which makes you feel like a sewer rat. If the trips were kept in the dark on ice (like a fridge) no problems.
