Shelf life of a Marquis

How long is the Marquis good for? Just bought my test about a month ago, will I get a full year out of it before expiration, or should I plan to refresh every 6 months?

i had one that lasted 2 years.. i kept it in the bottle it came with and i had it in my veg cripser drawer in the fridge... so they can last that long but its rare. you could prob get a year out of one if properly stored

12 months is about average - but depending where you store yours it could be longer / shorter.

Best advise is when you buy it do a control test and take a photo of the reaction - then you have a way of testing your tester in six / 12 / 18 months time etc. Sugar or Asprin will give a reaction so use something like that (household products).
