Then stands
Leaving the fruity drink you bought for her half finished
She feels sorry for you

I have to get up early. Thanks for the drink

Inadequacy, sums it up
She left before you could tell her how everything you do has meaning
How after a while you don’t trip over your tongue
That you are more than just another selfish asshole
Who drinks too much
And doesn’t get enough exercise
She gave up too soon
