She got the shakes after a couple of tokes...

For the xanax, her doctor is a dumb ass i can't believe it ! He didn't explain her that she can have side effect like that...BUT there's something strange. She take xanax since 3 years, but the side effects only show this year, is it possible ? Anyway thx for your help dude, it's really appreciated. I'll post later to said how the story goes.( sorry for bad english )

Are you saying that she is getting other side effects now, including times when she is not on cannabis?

Prescription drugs can be really fucked up.

By the way, why is she prescribed Xanax anyways?

I do not know much about birth control, but you should look into its side effects and see if it might be contributing.

Yeah it can be a nutrient deficiency..as we don't really eat healthy...she'll try to take some supplements just to see if something change...

Birth control ?? Do you mean if *she take the pill* ? If so, yes she take it. But she never got any problems with it...

i left it open as birthcontrol cause my gf is on the patch and never had this problem with smoking/drinking before that it could be a cause see if she was on it before when she used to smoke.

No i just said if the shakes are a side effect of xanax, it only show this year. And she just got the shakes, no other side effects. And it ONLY HAPPEN when she smoke, if it happen when she's sober, she didn't notice it.

She prescribed xanax for mild-depression. She said that she's don't feel depress anymore but keep taking xanax for the relaxation high, she said she need it to perform at school.

Anyway, as the shakes happen ONLY when she smoke, she just don't smoke. If it just something about weed it doesn't matter...but if it can be something more serious we want to know what is it you know...i don't want to lose her or i don't want her to die because of something wrong in her body ( and because i love her too ). She talk about it to her doctor and he just said *don't smoke, it's bad for your lungs*..wow thx for the help asshole !...anyway hope you understand all i've write and thx for YOUR help. ( sorry for bad english ).

Aparently she begin to take the birth control pill after she begun to smoke ( weed and tobacco )..do you think it can be related ?

no, your just a retard that cant go one sentence without making a grammer or spelling mistake.

Ban? What is with people being dicks...

Anyways on topic, I still get this now after years of smoking. It usually happens when I am Really stoned... I remember when I smoked for the 1st time I had these twitches for about a week, seriously :|

Just tell her to chill out, and keep warm :) Try having sugary foods around, I seem to remember that that helps alot =D

Xanax may actually worsen depression in the long run, in addition to other negative effects that I linked to in my last post.

I highly doubt that twitching means that she has any serious disease.

Yeah. The Xanax could be interacting with the birth control too:

I get the shakes sometimes.

It doesn't bug me. And if I have to hold my hands straight (i.e. to roll a joint) I can. They're not violent shakes either.

It's just like little whole-body trembles that go up and down. It feels good when my legs shake, guess they get some exercise 8)

and to that guy who insulted the OP... chill out, dude.

Ok so if i understand, xanax can be the origin of the shakes problem...and her xanax use can lead to serious problems. Maybe it just the time for her to drop out the xanax...we'll see. Thx again for your help.I'll post if there's something new in the story.

I don't see him implying that at all with his post. And I doubt xanax is making her shake while on cannabis. Like I've said before, I get the shakes when I get pretty ripped (and ive been smoking for 2years now). And I don't think you're actually really shaking, but internally you feel stimulation. Kind of hard to explain, but it happens to me. I just ignore it, and if I'm out walking around and stuff I don't notice it much. It's most noticeable when I'm lying down or sitting still.

I occasionally get twitches in my biceps when i smoke a lot of cones.

Hasn't happened much recently though...

Possible, but I doubt it. Seeing that the contraception was started after she started smoking, I think that is more likely the cause.

Yes. Benzos are not toys. She is going to have to go through a bad withdrawal now...

Yeah it can be only in her head. The shakes aren't pretty hard, just annoying. She said it's not because she's scared of something or anxious, she just smoke then relax and her body begin to shake that's all, and it happen even if she don't drink.

As said before, it happen also when she just smoke, even a little..but only with weed, no problem with tobacco.

Sorry but english is not my language. Write me some text in french just to see who's the retard...ha forget it you'll send me some wiki texts 'cuz you're too lazy to make an effort to understand how it can be difficult for someone to write in another language than his own.

then make a thread on a fucking french pot forum...
