She got the shakes after a couple of tokes...

She have read what you said and this is exactly how she feel when it happen. So it can be adrenaline...do you know if it can be dangerous or something bad for the body ? Does this mean it can be a problem with the thing who release adrenaline in the body ?

Dude it's fine, tell her to not worry about it. Happens to me every once in a while, and has happened since I started smoking. If she thinks it's that annoying, tell her to smoke less next time. Or smoke more often so she has more of a tolerance/is used to it.

Ok thx for the advice man. I'll come back if something change, thx too to all of you who try to help.( sorry for bad English ).

The shakes after smoking weed can be due to not having enough nutrients in your system, as in not eating enough throughout the day before you smoke.

Do you think it could be psychosomatic? I have never really heard of anyone shaking pretty hard. Just the occasional twitch. I could be wrong but I think, if you are smoking really good weed and she isn't used to being stoned she could just really nervous. Next time it happens try and help her relax. Does she get anxious at all? I think especially for people who don't smoke that often and then combine it with alcohol get pretty messed up....

When I started smoking I got the twitching sensation very often, I think it's common for people with little to no tolerance. Also maybe she should try smoking without alcohol.

Yeah it can be only in her head. The shakes aren't pretty hard, just annoying. She said it's not because she's scared of something or anxious, she just smoke then relax and her body begin to shake that's all, and it happen even if she don't drink.

As said before, it happen also when she just smoke, even a little..but only with weed, no problem with tobacco.

no, your just a retard that cant go one sentence without making a grammer or spelling mistake.

Sorry but english is not my language. Write me some text in french just to see who's the retard...ha forget it you'll send me some wiki texts 'cuz you're too lazy to make an effort to understand how it can be difficult for someone to write in another language than his own.

Says the guy who doesn't capitalize, mixes up 'you're' and 'your', and misspells 'grammar'.

On topic, my girlfriend complains of getting twitchy and lightheaded when she smokes, has almost passed out before from just smoking, no alcohol. It sucks because I'm a major pothead and I like to smoke with her.

i was thinking about this and think that maybe it is lowering her blood sugar very rapidly. has she tried drinking a glass of milk or orange juice after toking? would be interested to know if this helps or not...

Yeah i smoke a lot too and it suck to smoke a good joint right in her face...ho don't worry she's got her own drug to get high but it still suck to ride on a different high...

It's a good idea..we'll try it next time and let you know if it change something.

does she ever shake without pot? even minor trembles in her hand? if so post and i'll get my girlfriend siriusstar to post, she has essential tremors, and they become more pronounced when shes on something, its just a genetic disorder that causes minor tremors once in a blue moon.

No she said she's just shaking on something ( weed in this case )...she might be shaking when she's sober but doesn't notice it...if so, it's start to be annoying only when she smoke...( sorry for bad english ).

originally you said she doesnt use other drugs.. what else does she usually use? could be causing the shakes.

ive gotten uncontrollable shaking sometimes on pot. but it only happened when i was either under the influence of other substances, when i was really dehydrated or hungry, or of course when i was cold. What you're talking about sounds different from a panic response. When this happens to me, i either exercise (lift some weights or go on a walk and walk it off), or take other drugs (dopamine agonists like blue lotus flower or stimulants). Of course riding it out is also a typical option.

This comment really pissed me off. The OP obviously said twice he is sorry about his bad English. And for English being his second language he writes well enough that we understand what he is talking about. If I could write like that in French/Spanish I would be ecstatic. I'm sure he knows French much better than Cisco-Kid knows English. Keep comments like that to yourself, seriously.

Does she eat enough and healthily? Drink enough water? On any other drugs?

She eat enough, but not very healthy...you know how it is, we're young, eat a lot of Mc Donald..stuff like that.

Also she's on xanax, 2mg per day. I realize know that i've must explain this before, sorry :/...do you think it can be something with the xanax ?

Yeah i'm very sorry :/ i've didn't think it can be important to specify that she take some xanax..as it came from her doctor, it doesn't sound like a regular *drug* in my mind..hope you understand what i mean. And yeah she's just can stop smoking, and that's what she do..she don't need weed to live, we were just curious about this, as it can be something more serious and harmful...( sorry for bad english ).

That could could be contributing. She might have some nutrient deficiency, perhaps magnesium. Magnesium supplements help with bruxia (teeth gnashing) with MDMA. Disclaimer: IANAD; this is just a guess.

Drugs are drugs, no matter where they come from.

Yeah it can be a nutrient deficiency..as we don't really eat healthy...she'll try to take some supplements just to see if something change...

For the xanax, her doctor is a dumb ass i can't believe it ! He didn't explain her that she can have side effect like that...BUT there's something strange. She take xanax since 3 years, but the side effects only show this year, is it possible ? Anyway thx for your help dude, it's really appreciated. I'll post later to said how the story goes.( sorry for bad english )

Birth control ?? Do you mean if *she take the pill* ? If so, yes she take it. But she never got any problems with it...
