how many of you waited awhile and had to feel comfortable before exposing your thoughts here in words?
were any of you afraid of criticism? either constructive or destructive?

the only reason I ever put any of my words in here is that when I first came here I was going through a faze of doing anything that made me embarased or scared just to see if I could but the people here are reallllly nice so you feel pretty comfortable with it soon, like a fellow bluelighter said to me in an email a little while ago "...thats why I love bluelight so much, its like all the amazing people in the world in one place, yeah there are the assholes but you dont notice them on bluelight ..hehehe".I still dont really like much of the stuff I write but I put it on anyway coz it makes me feel better when other people know how you feel and you can talk about it.

My words go up when I want to share a piece of myself.
People using this medium can be unkind and just plain cruel, so I know that fear of exposure.

It did take me a while to post in this forum, not out of fear though. I had never been much of a writer before. In this past year, I found myself writing to get things out of my head. Getting it out really made it easier to deal with. Getting a response from anyone is a pleasant suprise. I guess some of you like the way I think ;)
Words is where I spend most of my time. I'm always eager to see what all of you are going to write next :)

I usually just jot down notes in a notepad, construct and organize it real quick then throw it up here. Sometimes I'll go back and edit it later after I've thought it over, but I just like to get my thoughts out as quickly as possible. I don't like to read stuff I write over and over.
A lot of my stuff is incomplete, sort of spurt of the moment ramblings i guess...
...prolly why i never get responses :(

I waited for a while, finally posted, and received little to no response. I did have some hang-ups about posting, but they were largely unfounded...people can't criticize what they don't read... ;)
