An unseen hero with unsung praise
Holding in the balance the rest of your life
This fight isn't of pride, of a nation's destruction
And the pure Golden Vengeance with which he will smite
This isn't the battle of vendettas unfinished
Fighting perfection envious and Green
A man beaten by his Perfect opponent
Where muddled blood Rage avenged Honor's death
This is the war fought against chaos - entropy, even
Delaying the inevitable because it's our duty
This Avatar, this Monster, facing Hells' gaze
With the weight of the world snapping his might
It was only when you, along with me and the others
Were shown that our choice could end Death and Life
He trusted, we trusted, empowering the powerless
To renew Death's cycle with a bright flash of might

I know...it gave me chills as I was typing it. I'm glad you appreciate it on the level that I do.

I dunno, the "unsung hero with unsung praise" just strikes me as a police officer. good read :)

Ah, I see. Well thank you. This poem is actually about Goku's final Spirit Bomb in Dragonball Z against Kid Buu, while reflecting about and comparing against the other two antagonists in the series, Frieza and Cell. I just wanted to share with you guys my own thoughts and feelings on those final moments.
