if you are concealing items from people invited into your home, that's one thing.
if you are concealing items from people who have a warrant, i'm guessing its unlikely it makes a difference.
question: surely regular users of any substance-- particular smokeables- have enough residue accumulation in their homes to be not only easily detectable but probably prosecutable, yes?
the only "safe" stash then is a legal, verifiable prescription for the those same drugs in a labeled drug bottle. how one uses that prescription is up to them. how one refills that bottle occasionally without the use of a pharmacy is a question i certainly can't answer, as i don't do drugs, but that's probably as safe as it gets, short of what i practice: complete abstinence.
otherwise, the above safe stash is transportable in airports too. do you think they check the label? or the contents? or the date on the scrip? i don't think they do. i wouldn't know. but i've heard you can be fully searched, pupils wide as saucers, carrying prescriptions for two or three drugs that are questionable and be residue tested, patted down, scanned and sniffed, and be allowed to proceed to your flight.
god the help the poor soul who gelcaps something not legal in all that mix.
(doesn't hurt to dress like a business traveler. or in fact, be a business traveler)
