I participated for the 5th time in an annual event my father organizes to raise money for ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) cure research. We (really, he) raised $202,000, an improvement from last year. And it's always nice to walk along the bay with my brother and a friend on a Sunday morning.

That's so freakin' awesome, moe! ALS took my uncle's life and is a terrible disease but it's heartwarming to know that people like you are raising money to help find a cure. :)

Update is that I should be a damn lawyer.. Dressed quite nice (nicer than the other side today), kept calm, destroyed their argument, watched him squirm and get a little emotional, knocked all their counters out of the park with recognizable honesty... basked in the glow of a good grilling. how do you like your x boss.. lol.. well done<3=D<3
 
Got $1400 Michelin tyres for $1050 fitted. My day has started well & my baby is booked in for her service on Friday. Somehow I know my day is all downhill from here or at least til 5.00pm anyways
 
Thanks spork, Sometimes I forget how much worse things could be right now if I was still using.
Maybe I'm not incredibly happy, but I'm also not Incomprehensibly Demoralized on a daily basis anymore.


Really nice weather today. Yesterday was on the colder side.

Nice. It's their fault for underpreparing, right? I find that dressing up generally works to my advantage. The positive attitude that comes from being better put together than one's opponent is awesome. It's all content at day's end, though.

I had a good day. I got a lot accomplished. I had fun. Best is that I have a new bed! I bought a new comforter, two new badass memory foam pillows and washed all of it before making my new bed for the first time. I haven't had a new bed in years. I'm excited to get a good night's sleep in it tonight in a fresh new bed with fresh new pillows and sheets.
 
I've been pretty sad today, having a hard time lately.
Something positive though, I went to a weekly AA meeting that I have a service commitment at, and I stayed sober.

My girlfriend snap chatted this picture to me the other day, So I took a screenshot. Was browsing through my photos just now and saw it, reminded me to try and think on the bright side even if I've had a rough day! :)

It's inventory day today and we will need to clean our inventory issues so it is definitely something positive!!!
 
Something Positive from my Day:

Meeting a lot of beautiful people. It's hard not to empathise with them/see yourself in them, even (especially heh) the ones that piss you off (well some ;) )
