sunshine and summer weather in January.

emailed my great-aunt some poetry and she wants me to take a week away to write at her house unperturbed

Woke up to the happiest baby I've ever met and I'm proud to say I made her.
So my day started off strong and I'm lucky enough to end it strong by going to the gym later so my husband can have daddy daughter time. Life is good today.

12 gallons of the best spaghetti sauce on the planet is simmering away on the stove..

EDIT: its done divided and about to be frozen.

I did this when I was pregnant and it made for some life saving quick meals when baby arrived. Plus bulk cooking feels so productive!

^ rite, mass cooking for certain dishes is where its at 4 sure.

Good talk with the kido tonight.. he is a black belt and just started sword training little while back. He just picked up his first real sword.. the master dulled then a bit.. so only major trauma and not decapitations are possible.

I have been promoted to Assistant Kitchen Manager at the cafe I work at. I am feeling good about that and realize more opportunities will present themselves as long as I continue to grow, which I know that I will. If only cooking was my passion.
