Maybe when I was a kid (not that I ever got "big" presents so much as mostly b'day or mostly Xmas depending on year). As I mentioned, this year I got 4.5 kilos of generic, catering cup-a-soup mix. Scotch Broth and Cheese n Broccoli flavours in case you were wondering.

I actually do fancy a slow cooker. My dearly departed had one she always meant to give me but never got around to it so I'm still a slow cooker virgin
