Happy birthday man. You share a birthday with an old friend of mine who is truly mad as a box of frogs...
...I was in your town recently (relatively anyway, mid September)...we'd just stopped to get some food on our way up North ....anyway for some reason I thought of you prior to entering the shop
no word of a lie, when waiting in't queue to pay for foodstuffs I happened to look towards the window where there was a pile of newspapers (some local-weekly type affair I remember) and the front page of said paper was dominated by a huge, red headline which simply stated SHAMBLES!
it was to do with some local social services fiasco...I tried not to laugh but was overcome and in the struggle ejected the drink I'd just had a swig of out of my nose much to the distaste of the rather posh looking (and very fit too I may add) lady next to me.
kinda wanted to explain the situation to her but thought better of it....anyway happy day matey
