These thoughts take control of me
I keep wondering what's in store
Questioning what's this life for
I've been searching for something
It seems so hard to find
Searching for something to cling to
Something I can hold on to
But this world is so shallow

Looking for better days
No more sky's of gray
A place I can stay
My feelings begin to consume me
These thoughts confuse me
I feel pushed and pulled
I don't want to be used
I keep searching for something
It's just so hard to find
Searching for something meaningful
Something deep and intellectual
But this world is so shallow

These thoughts occupy me
I want to know so much
I want to feel love's touch
I'm still searching for something
But it's so hard to find
Searching for something spiritual
